My Angel

I wish with all my heart that my Angel would descend. I wish she would walk toward me with a calm and beautiful smile. That she would look me in the eyes and tell me I will be happy, and loved, and always in her arms, forever. I wait for this perfect being who will comfort me when I feel alone. That will raise my spirits when I am sad. And who will pick me back up and give me hope when I am down. I pray for my Angel to find me, and take me under her wing. I don't ever want to worry again. I never want to feel my heart break again. I never want to lose faith and trust.

My Angel, where are you? I beg of you to find me, and make me your's. Offer me that peace and comfort I have longed to feel. Wash away the past and make me forget the pain it has always brought me. Angel, who are you? Where are you? When will you finally find me?

I will wait for you Angel, I will wait as I always have, searching no matter how much pain comes to me from those who break my heart. I know they are not the Angel that you are. For you will never harm me, never hurt me, and never give me a reason to not believe in you. I love you now, I will love you even more once you finally have found me.
