Destiny Of A Lie

Time seemed to pass so fast. I pondered my destiny. I sat and waited. I never moved forward. Until I found my reason to. I became attached. I fell in love. I traveled 8 hours to fulfill what I believed was my destiny. A destiny that has since begun to fade. Two great days. The best two of my life that I can recall. Yet now I look back at all that was and I see that what I believed so truly has since become a lie. A destiny of a lie. Promises broken. Feelings withheld. Emotions gone. Lies spreading, and what was once so clear became clouded in chaos and confusion. Destiny....a word I held in my heart, a word I thought would lead me to love. Destiny, it was a lie. My destiny is unknown, never found, never changed. Time shall pass, but it grows shorter for me.
